Brud is a construction professional with 30 years experience. He has been instrumental in the construction of more than 150 shopping warehouses worldwide, including the United States, China, Latin America and Korea. He is leading PriceSmart's international expansion effort through site selection and real estate acquisitions in emerging markets. His experience has been vital in the success of PriceSmart's expansion program. Brud has worldwide responsibility for the development of PriceSmart Membership Shopping Warehouses with 44 facilities located in the following countries: Indonesia (2), China (7), Saipan/Guam (2), Philippines (6), Guatemala (4), El Salvador (2), Honduras (3), Costa Rica (4), Panama (4), Dominican Republic (3), Trinidad and Tobago (3), Barbados (1), Aruba (1), St. Thomas, V.I. (1), Jamaica (1); also for Payless Shoe Source with 15 facilities located in Guatemala (1), El Salvador (2), Honduras (2), Costa Rica (3), Panama (3), Dominican Republic (3), Trinidad and Tobago (1); Co-Development Shopping Centers as Convenience Center in Mira Flores in Guatemala, Los Pueblos Shopping Center in Panama, Chaguanas Mall in Trinidad and Tobago and PriceSmart Plaza in Zone 4 and 10 in Guatemala; and Marriott Courtyard in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Trinidad and Tobago. Fernando Delgado obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in 1986. After passing the engineering Licensure Examinations of the same year, he began working under various capacities in Design, Material Management, Facility Maintenance and Construction Management. An overseas assignment in 1991 has led him to travel to other countries for a variety of construction and project management work. Fernando has undertaken numerous construction work ranging from the construction of several factories in Indonesia; a diesel-fired power plant in Germany, up to the construction of an integrated high-voltage underground power distribution system for the Bonifacio Global City in the Philippines. Fernando joined PriceSmart in year 2000 when PriceSmart Inc., re-entered the Philippines to begin operations for its US-style membership warehouses. By 2002, he was given full responsibility for construction management of all PriceSmart expansion, renovation and real estate projects in the Asia-Pacific region. Currently he is living in Costa Rica where he manages the development of the new PriceSmart´s for the region. ![]() Gerardo Caravaca

Gerardo Caravaca has a License in Financial & Banking from the Universidad Fidelitas de Costa Rica. Gerardo is responsible for development of ideas for the Real Estate of PriceSmart, like look for the tenants of El Dorado Commercial Center in Panama and Commercial Center Heredia in Costa Rica, and as Project Manager for the offices and parking expansion in Zapote, Costa Rica. His responsibilities include and involve developing financial analysis for the property ventures of PriceSmart in Central America. He likewise takes charge of all internal administrative and marketing works for the CDS. ![]() Roberto Ruano

Industrial Engineer from the Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica. With more than 10 years of experience in the preventive maintenance of commercial and residential buildings, Roberto has worked in the construction area more than 7 years in charge of the supervision of construction and rehabilitation of bank branches, office and residential buildings and the maintenance of the same in Costa Rica and Panama. Worked for PriceSmart since June 2006 as the Regional Property Manager and is part of CDS as support in different administration projects in the area Roberto is responsible for the administration of the Rehabilitation of El Dorado Commercial Center in Panama and the new Corporate Offices in Panama and the commercial area in Heredia Costa Rica. ![]() Christian Reyes
Property Management

Christian Reyes originally started with PriceSmart under Operations. He was one of the pioneers for the Guam warehouse as he was already working for the company for its start-up operations beginning November 2001. Christian was designated Merchandiser when PriceSmart Guam opened its doors to its members last March 2002. Taking on bigger responsibilities, Chris, as he is commonly called, was already promoted by 2003 and worked as Foods Manager while still performing his merchandising tasks for the warehouse. In January 2004, Chris was transferred to the Construction Division to work on tenant improvements for PriceSmart’s property in preparation for the move-in of Guam’s Department of Revenue & Taxation as tenant. Today, Chris continues to take point in all property-related operations and management of company assets in Guam. ![]() Guillermo Amador

Guillermo Amador is a civil engineer that has been working in various capacities under different projects since 1999. From Resident Engineer to Project Manager at the present time, Guillermo has exhibited a quick adaptation to the stringent and rigorous requirements of CDS’ project management procedures. He took major responsibility by managing the field project and construction management of PriceSmart San Pedro Sula in Honduras, the rehabilitation of PSMT Santo Domingo in Dominican Republic, and new PriceSmart in Guatemala. Edgar Leon is a civil engineer with experience in different projects in Costa Rica and Venezuela for many years. Project Manager at the present time, had experience the rigorous requirements of CDS’ project management. He took major responsibility by managing the field project and construction management of PriceSmart Mausica in Trinidad. ![]() Felipe Montenegro
Construction Consultant

Felipe Montenegro has a MS in engineering – Civil Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá. He was responsible for the development and consulting projects as Marriott Courtyard in Costa Rica, Panama and Dominican Republic; Payless shoes in Guatemala, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Panama, and Costa Rica. Also, Felipe developed The Business Towers Trilogía in Costa Rica, and PriceSmarts around Central America and the Caribbean. Felipe had also developed construction projects in Central America and the Caribbean as Shopping Centers and Business Towers. As consultant he is in charge of the construction part of the Rehabilitation of the Commercial Center in El Dorado and the Corporate Offices in Panama City.
