TITLE: Caribbean Regional IT Manager
REPORTS TO: Vice President of IT
SUPERVISES: IT Managers and EDP Operators
LOCATION: Trinidad

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
  • Supervises IT Managers and EDP Clerks
  • Prepare surveys and questionnaires designed to indentify country specific IT system requirements
  • Assist Corporate IT in analysis and determination of country specific requirements
  • Serve as primary point of contact for IT with in country VP’s, Country Managers, Club Managers and local IT personnel
  • Prepare and update project implementation timelines
  • Coordinate development of country specific system modifications with Corporate IT
  • Perform installation of in country IT systems and supervise installations performed by contractors and vendors

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in preparation of IT equipment budgets
  • Verification of proper billing by vendors
  • Research equipment requirements, pricing, service support and vendors
  • Continually negotiate with vendors to ensure the best price and service
  • Coordinate training schedules with IT support staff
  • Assist in evaluating qualifications and progress of in country IT staff
  • Coordinate purchasing, configuration and shipping of IT equipment and software
  • Travel of up to two weeks per trip per month required for installations and audits. Trips may require additional onsite time due to unforeseeable issues
  • Prepare weekly objectives and status reports
  • Perform hardware/software installations, repair and maintenance
  • Manage periodic projects assigned by Management
  • Support international users
  • Test new system setup, new third party applications, and new in-house applications
  • Level 2 Support – On call cell phone 24 hour requirement
  • Develop documentation and educational materials and provide training for system users
  • Develop goals with IT management and strive to achieve them
  • Implement and Document standards, procedures & problem resolution
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair cables, hardware, network, IP and similar issues and access support resources on line when necessary
  • Work with Vendors for troubleshooting, support and ordering
  • Adhere to Company and SOX policies and procedures

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Note: These areas of experience cover all aspects of the position. No one candidate is expected to meet all the qualifications below. However, preference will be given to the candidates based on how well they meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Information Technology
  • Extensive experience in IT preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Bilingual Spanish and English
  • Leadership skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Work well under pressure
  • Team Player
  • Computer skills in Microsoft applications, Cisco, PC hardware
  • Time schedule flexibility
